The government has given a big relief to the common people, you will be able to update the Aadhaar card for free till this date

The government has extended the time limit for updating Aadhaar card details for free. Earlier this limit was March 14 which has now been increased to June 14, 2024. So now crores of people of the country have got 4 months extension time. According to a post by UIDAI on social media X, UIDAI has extended the online document upload facility till June 14, 2024 to benefit lakhs of Aadhaar card holders.

Free service available on myAadhaar portal

This free service is available only on the myAadhaar portal. If your Aadhaar card is more than 10 years old and has never been updated. UIDAI is telling such people to update all their information again. So that the service can be provided better.

Update Aadhaar details online like this

1. First visit https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/.

2. Log in to the website through your Aadhaar number and OTP on your registered mobile number.

3. Select the Aadhaar Update option.

4. Enter your registered mobile number and then submit the OTP on the mobile.

5. Then select Document Update option then you will see Aadhaar related details.

6. After checking the details upload the required documents to update your address.

7. Finally you will get 14 number update request number. Through it you can track aadhaar update.

This is how to update offline

1. First go to https://shuvan.nrsc.gov.in/aadhaar/

2. To find the nearest Aadhaar Centres, click on the 'Near by Centre' tab.

3. Enter your location details to view the nearest Aadhaar center.

4. Click on the 'Search by Pin Code' tab and then enter the pin code to see Aadhaar centers in your area.
