Tata will send a 'spy' into space with the help of Elon Musk! Will keep an eye on China

To help the Indian armed forces, Tata has developed a satellite that will spy on India's enemies. It will also send pictures of enemy positions. This satellite will be launched from Elon Musk's SpaceX. But the control unit of this satellite will be prepared in India itself.

Tata has prepared a spy who will monitor every action of China and Pakistan from the sky. He is said to be the country's first spy of its kind. Actually this spy is in the form of a satellite. Which is kept under military grade.

The special thing is that preparations are underway to send this satellite from America through the satellite of Elon Musk's SpaceX company. Additionally, work is underway on a ground station for this satellite in India that will control the asset and process sub-meter resolution images from it.

When will it be launched?

According to media reports, work on the spy satellite, manufactured by Tata Advanced Systems (TASL), was completed last week and is being sent to Florida for an expected launch by April. A unique aspect of the TASL program is that ground control will remain in India, enabling the secrecy of coordinates required for surveillance by the armed forces.

A ground control center will be established in Bengaluru

Earlier, for monitoring, exact coordinates and time had to be shared with foreign vendors. By the time the satellite is in operational mode, an advanced ground control center will be set up in Bengaluru. The control center will direct the satellite's path and process images that can be used by the armed forces to monitor infrastructure and acquire military targets.

Had to depend on American companies

The satellite also has a partnership with the Latin American company Satelolic, which provides 0.5 m spatial resolution imagery. ISRO also has sub-meter resolution satellites, but given the coverage required to monitor enemy movements across the border, the armed forces have in the past had to seek and rely on US companies for urgently needed intelligence.

After the developments on the LAC with China, the purchase of imagery from foreign organizations has increased. Along with its primary defense role, satellite imagery can also be exported to friendly countries. According to information, TASL has been approached by several countries for orders. The Bengaluru plant can produce 25 such low earth satellites in a year.
