Tathi father and sons who were partners in a partnership firm named M/s Tathi and Desai Developers committed a fraud of Rs 4.04 crore. In this crime a fortnight ago, when the writer brother appeared with anticipatory bail, Eco Cell took arrest action.

Maganbhai Veljibhai Desai living in Katargam is a builder by profession. Labhu Dharamshibhai the writer happens to be the son of his maternal uncle. Sons of Mehul and Virendra Labhubhai. For the past 30 years, he has been doing construction business in partnership under the name of M/s Satthi & Desai Developers. Revenue Survey No. in Katargam in the name of partnership firm. It was decided to take the land with 78-1.

It was planned to build five high-rise buildings of 13 floors in the name of The Atlantis on 11300 square meters of land. Here, Mehul had registered a document in favor of his father Labhubhai intending to grab 2490.58 sq.m land with e-building. Despite being partners in the partnership firm, Labhubhai and his two sons Mehul and Virendra transferred 4 crores to the bank accounts of the family members of the partnership firm.

Entries of this amount were mentioned in the sale document, despite the knowledge of Desai's right, share on behalf of the partnership firm on the land with the building, the same entry was used twice and the amount mentioned in the sale document as 4 crores was not paid to the partnership firm. At the same time, the resolution of 2018 was tampered with and the resolution of 2019 was used as the real one. Based on the resolution, the bogus document was created by creating a false photo showing the open land even though the work was done on the land up to the plinth level. Mehul Labhu Textee and Virendra Labhu Textee (both of Sadhana Society, Varachha) appeared in the court on Tuesday afternoon with anticipatory bail, the police completed the arrest procedure and released them both.
