Stock Market: Stock market opened with a record increase, Sensex maintained its position above 82 thousand today

On August 30, the Indian market got off to a strong start. Amid strong global market cues, the domestic market is buoyant. Domestic equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty are seeing good gains. A trading day ago Sensex closed above 82 thousand and Nifty above 25150 for the first time. His record pace continues to this day.

Sensex maintained its position above 82 thousand today

All Nifty sector indices are green except IT. Midcap and smallcap stocks are also seeing a buying trend. Overall, BSE listed companies have a market cap of Rs. 1.75 lakh crore has increased, meaning that as soon as the market opens, investor assets are worth Rs. 1.75 lakh crore has increased.

Sensex closed at 82,134.61 and Nifty at 25,151.95 yesterday .

Now on the equity benchmark indices, the BSE Sensex is currently up 322.17 points or 0.74 per cent at 82,456.78 and the Nifty 50 is up 90.20 points or 0.39 per cent at 25,242.15. A trading day ago, Sensex closed at 82,134.61 and Nifty at 25,151.95.

Increase in investors' capital

A trading day earlier i.e. on August 29, 2024, the total market cap of all the shares listed on BSE was Rs. 4,62,56,079.12 crores. As soon as the market opens today i.e. on August 30, 2024, it has reached Rs 4,64,31,348.69 crore. That is  , investors' capital of Rs. 1,75,269.57 crore has increased.

25 shares of Sensex are in green zone There are 30 shares listed on Sensex, of which 25 are in green zone. Bajaj Finance, L&T and Bajaj Finserv are the biggest gainers. On the other hand, Tata Motors, TCS and Tech Mahindra have seen the biggest decline.
