Shifu Kanishka Sharma: First Indian to receive the title of “Shifu” from the famous Shaolin Temple in China

Shifu Kanishka's love for martial arts started when he was just seven years old. It happened on an ordinary night when his driver Suraj Pal bought him a movie called 36 Chambers of Shaolin. Little did he know that what he started would become his life's passion.

Shifu Kanishk Sharma is the first Indian to receive the title of “Shifu” from the famous Shaolin Temple in China. He is the first Indian to buy a lethal combat system from Pakity Tirisa Kali in India. He is also the first Indian to introduce Kali tactical warfare system in law enforcement military and special forces.

Shifu Kanishka has spent 32 years of his life in various martial arts and created his own system called Shifu Kanishka Combatives. It is an amalgamation of six martial arts that he has studied extensively under various masters including Shaolin Kung Fu, Pekiti Thirsya Kali, Muay Thai Chia, Jit Kune Do, Tai Chi and Wingchun. His system consists primarily of street survival tactics that are easy to learn and can be implemented immediately.
