Russell 2000 saw tremendous action again and rose 2.5%. At the same time the 10-year bond yield is steady around 4.25%. These global cues have had a positive impact on local stock markets today. Earlier on Thursday, Indian markets closed in the green amid heavy ups and downs. The Sensex rose 227 points to close at 72,050.
