Share Market Opening Bell: After the stock market closed with a general decline after the Budget on Tuesday, July 23, the business started with a decline on the second day today. Sensex and Nifty opened 0.1% lower today.

US markets closed lower yesterday. However, smallcaps also performed well yesterday. Yesterday, Dow Jones closed down by 57 points, S&P 500 index by 9 points and Nasdaq by 10 points. Weakness is also seen in Asian markets. Markets in Taiwan are closed today.

Today the result of these companies will be announced

Although the Nifty showed a recovery from the lows on Budget day, the index closed in the red and is below the crucial level of 24,500. The market still wants clarity on many aspects of the budget. The June quarter results of several other companies including Bajaj Finance, HUL, ICICI Prudential Life and Torrent Pharma will be in action today. Apart from this, Axis Bank, L&T and SBI Life Nifty companies will announce the results today. Apart from this, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC, Bikaji Foods, Federal Bank, IEX, JSPL, JK Paper, Syngene and Oracle Financial will also declare results.

Statistics of FIIs-DII

After several days of continuous buying, foreign institutional investors sold the cash market yesterday. At the same time, the day saw buying from domestic institutional investors. FIIs sold shares worth a net ₹2,975 crore in the cash market yesterday. Whereas, DII bought shares worth ₹1,419 crore in the cash market.
