Share Market Opening Bell: The Indian stock market opened at a new record level today, but it slipped below the red mark at the time of calculation. Sensex opened 0.3% higher and Nifty 0.2% higher today. With the opening of business, Sensex started trading at 81,585.06 (Sensex All Time High) and Nifty at 24,853.80 (Nifty All Time High). Reliance Industries will report its first quarter results today

Reliance Industries, the country's largest company by market value, will present its first quarter results today on Friday. Shares closed up more than half a percent on Thursday ahead of the results. The stock has gained 7 percent in the past one month. According to media reports, the company's EBITDA will increase compared to last year while a limited increase in revenue is also expected. However, the company's EBITDA margin may decline compared to the same period last year, according to the poll.

Mutual funds can invest more in upcoming QIPs of public sector banks

Five public sector banks including Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India and Bank of Maharashtra have raised Rs. 28,000 crore worth of Qualified Institutional Placements (QIPs) have been planned. This time too they will turn to local mutual fund houses to meet their funding needs.
