The new Prime Minister has finally been announced amid the ongoing political turmoil in Pakistan for several days. Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's younger brother Shehbaz Sharif has been elected as the next Prime Minister of Pakistan. Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq announced that PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif has been elected as the 24th Prime Minister of Pakistan by securing 201 votes.

Shahbaz is the younger brother of Nawaz Sharif
