Shravan 2024: Lord Shiva is considered one of the most important and revered deities of Hinduism. God is called the God of Debts. When Lord Shiva is the best among all Gods, one wonders who are his parents? Because most of the devotees are unaware about Lord Shiva's parents. Srimad Devi Bhagavata Purana mentions a story connected with the birth of Lord Shiva. Some other religious texts also mention the birth of Lord Shiva.

Shrimad Devi Bhagwat is a scripture also known as Devi Bhagwat. Srimad Devi Bhagwat Purana mentions Shivaji's parents. According to the story of Devi Purana, once Devarshi Narada asked his father Brahma who created this creation and who are Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva and your parents?

The dispute between Brahmaji and Vishnuji increased. Then approaching Sadashiva to settle their dispute, Shiva said, Sons, I have given you two works on the origin and condition of the world. Similarly, I have assigned to Siva and Rudra also the responsibility of destruction and destruction. I have five faces. Linga Purana – Linga Purana is one of the 18 Mahapuranas that narrates the story of Lord Shiva's Jyotirlinga. The glory of Lord Shiva is described in 11 thousand verses in Linga Purana. It is considered the best of all Puranas. Even in the Linga Purana, Lord Shiva is described as self-sufficient and eternal. This Purana describes the glory of Shivlinga and the various forms of Shivlinga. This Purana also identifies Lord Shiva as Param Shakti.

At that time a pillar of light (Linga) appears. Mahadev orders Brahma and Vishnu to find the beginning and end of that pillar. For days the gods fail to find the beginning and end of that pillar. Then he realizes that Lord Shiva is supreme.
