Railway Jobs 2024 : There is good news for the candidates who are preparing for jobs in Indian Railways. Indian Railways has a bumper recruitment for technician posts, for which the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a short notice. The application for this recruitment for 9000 posts has started from March 9 and candidates can apply for it till April 8, 2024.

What positions are vacant?

As per Railway Board notification, Railways has released the recruitment for 1100 Technician Grade-1 Signal and 7900 Technician Grade-3 posts. In this way, a total of 9,000 posts are to be recruited.

Recruitment is to be done in these departments

Railway department said that these 9000 technicians will be recruited in different departments of the country. These include Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Bilaspur, Chandigarh, Gorakhpur, Guwahati, Jammu and Srinagar, Kolkata, Mumbai, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Prayagraj, Ranchi, Secunderabad, Siliguri and Thiruvananthapuram.

This will be the salary

According to the notification, candidates at Technician Grade-1 will get a salary of Rs 29,200 and candidates at Technician Grade-3 will get a salary of Rs 19,900 per month.

Qualification

The Railway Board said that the maximum age of candidates to apply for Technician Grade-I has been fixed as 36 years as on July 1, 2024 and 33 years for Technician Grade-III.
