Mercedes-Benz has launched the new Maybach GLS 600 facelift model in India. Equipped with attractive looks and powerful features, the car is priced at a starting price of Rs 3.35 crore (ex-showroom). The company has given some cosmetic updates to the updated Maybach GLS. Which includes new interior and upholstery.

From the outside, the Maybach GLS 600 gets minor changes. It has a completely new bumper and Maybach logo pattern on the air intake grille. At the rear, it features LED signature tail-lamps and a Maybach-special tail pipe. The car comes in Black, Polar White and Silver Metallic color options. A dual-tone paint shade option is also available. The company has given a 22 inch wheel in the standard model. Apart from this, the option of classic deep-dish monoblock 23-inch Maybach wheels is also available.

The company has also made cosmetic changes to the cabin of the Maybach GLS 600. However, more focus is only found on the software and trim options. New steering wheel, newly designed AC vent, latest generation MBUX software and new graphics make this car even better. Some additional features include a fingerprint sensor and hand gestures. With the help of this, the user can operate certain features with just one touch.

The rear seat of the car has ventilation and comfort functions and the company says that the seat can be reclined up to 43.5 degrees. Which provides a comfortable ride on long distance journeys. Mercedes includes features like Burmester surround sound system, MBUX high-end rear seat entertainment system, multibeam LED with high-beam assist, guard 360-degree safety glass with thermal and noise insulation, comfort package, upgraded parking system. Parking Gen 5.0 and upgraded steering wheel are provided.

Power and Performance

In the GLS 600, the company has given a twin turbocharged V8 engine of 4.0 liter capacity. which is connected to an electric motor. This engine generates 557 hp of power and 770 Nm of torque. While the 48V integrated starter gives this engine an additional power of 22 hp and torque of 250 Nm. Due to which this car becomes more powerful. The company has mated this engine to a 9-speed automatic transmission gearbox, equipped with a 4Matic system in all wheels.

The company claims that this car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.9 seconds. Its top speed is 250 km per hour. The GLS 600 gets an ornamental trim on the rear apron, black chrome AMG twin tailpipes and heat-insulating dark tinted glass to enhance the beauty of the GLS 600.
