The motion of thanks on President Draupadi Murmu's address will be debated in the Rajya Sabha today. Kavita Patidar will open the debate in the Rajya Sabha. Vivek Thakur will be the second speaker. 14 hours have been allotted for debate in the Rajya Sabha. PM Modi will respond to the debate in the Rajya Sabha this afternoon. Earlier on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had responded in the Lok Sabha on the motion of thanks on the President's address to Parliament. In the meantime, he had hit hard on the opposition.

First of all, PM Modi mentioned everything from inflation to new startups in his address. PM Modi also recounted the achievements of the last 10 years and said that when we come to power for the third time, India's economy will be third in the world. He then targeted the opposition parties and said that whatever stones you throw, I will use those stones for the development of the country. Opposition people are famous and we are workers. We will continue to listen and take the country forward.

'The country will not be allowed to be looted'

The PM said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir had to pay a heavy price for Nehru's mistakes. They may have made mistakes, but we try to correct the mistakes. Country comes first for us. Those who looted the country must give it back. I guarantee the countrymen. The country will not be allowed to be looted. Whoever has looted must return it. The country is enjoying security and peace. Today the country has become stronger in the field of security. Terrorism and Naxalism are confined to a small area. The mentality of Congress has done a lot of damage to the country. Congress never had faith in the country's capability. They continued to consider themselves rulers. Always underestimated the public.

He said that the speed at which work is being done in the country today, the Congress government cannot even imagine this speed. We have constructed 4 crore houses for the poor and 80 lakh puchas for the urban poor. What would have happened if these houses had been built at the pace of Congress, it would have taken 100 years to complete this work.

He also said that our third term will be full of big decisions. I have said on TV and also at the Ram Mandir Abhishek that I want to see the country at the pinnacle of prosperity for the next thousand years. The third term will be to lay a solid foundation for the next 1000 years.
