Paris Olympics 2024: India's youngest athlete to compete in freestyle event at Olympics

The Paris Olympics will start from July 26. The Indian team is fully prepared for the biggest event in the world which will last till August 11. Around 120 athletes from India are participating in the Paris Olympics. One of the youngest athletes is also included among these players. Whose age is only 14 years.

Dhinidhi Deshingu was born on 17 May 2010. The swimmer is going to compete in the 200m freestyle event. Paris will take the field at the La Defense Arena on July 28th. Dhinidhi will then become the second youngest Indian Olympian in history.

Before this, only 11-year-old Indian athlete Aarti Saha participated in Helsinki Olympics in 1952. He holds the record of being the youngest Indian in the history of Olympics. Dhinidhi started learning swimming at the age of 8. He also follows America's seven-time Olympic gold medalist Katie.

In 2019, she is getting training from Dronacharya award winner and coach Nihar Amin. Dhinidhi started breaking records from childhood. He is currently studying in ninth grade. Dhinidhi has already won 7 gold medals

Earlier, Dhinidhi has already created a national record in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. She has already won the women's 200m freestyle title at the 2023 National Aquatics Championships. He won 7 gold medals in swimming during the 2023 National Games in Goa. Now, hopefully, he will win a medal for India in the Olympics.
