Now women will fly drones! Women trained in use of drone technology in natural farming

Ahmedabad: In the Budget 2024-25, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made a big announcement regarding Lakhpati Didi Yojana. It has been decided to empower women on a large scale under this scheme. The target is to make 3 crore women Lakhpati Didi in the year 2024. Due to which women are now being trained to fly drones.

Kelia Vasana village of Dholka, Ahmedabad celebrated a field day focused on organic farming. In the program, women were trained to spray medicine and fertilizer through drones in the fields. 75 women leaders were trained in natural farming and drone sakhi. Information was provided to save farmers time by using drone technology in organic farming. Along with this, an exhibition of natural farming based products was also held.

Importantly, for the first time, Gujarat University organized a field day focused on organic farming, in which experts from Dronelab technology demonstrated the use of technology. In which women leaders participated.
