The Champions Trophy is scheduled to be held in Pakistan next year but according to reports BCCI has refused to send Team India there. If reports are to be believed, Team India may play their Champions Trophy matches in Sri Lanka or Dubai, but in the meantime, there are demands to shift the Afghanistan matches out of Pakistan. Afghanistan's big celebrity Wajma Ayyubi has claimed on social media that the Afghanistan team is not safe in Pakistan and the Afghan team should play their matches outside Pakistan.

Pakistan is not safe

Wazma Ayubi has demanded that the match of the Afghan team be shifted out of Pakistan, as a famous Pashto poet Gilman Wazir was killed in Islamabad. On 7 July, he was attacked by an agitated mob while he was addressing a rally in Islamabad. He was stabbed and died in hospital on Thursday. Wajma Ayyubi wrote about the same massacre that no one is safe in Pakistan. He wrote to the ICC demanding that the Afghanistan matches be held elsewhere.

Impossible for Team India to go to Pakistan

On one hand, Pakistan Cricket Board is dreaming that Team India will go to their country to play the Champions Trophy, on the other hand, it is clear that BCCI will never send Rohit Sharma's team to Pakistan. There are also reports that many Indian players have refused to go to Pakistan. However, this decision is not even in BCCI's hands. BCCI will have to seek permission from the Indian government before going to Pakistan. And getting permission to go to Pakistan is almost impossible.
