Ambani said the company will start manufacturing its solar photovoltaic (PV) modules by the end of this year.

Ambani said that in the next quarter we will complete the first phase of our integrated solar manufacturing facilities. These include modules, cells, glass, wafers, ingots and polysilicon with an initial annual capacity of 10 GW. We have commenced construction of an integrated advanced chemistry based battery manufacturing facility with an annual capacity of 30 GWh at Jamnagar. Production will begin in the second half of next year.

Addressing the shareholders, Mukesh Ambani said that Jamnagar will become the energy capital of the world. By 2025, Jamnagar will also become the hub of our new energy business. The Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga Manufacturing Complex will be the world's largest, most modern, modular and integrated ecosystem at a single location.

Focus on new energy business

Talking about the new energy business, he said, the bio-energy business is expanding rapidly and will reach 55 operating Compressed Biogas (CBG) plants by 2025, which will transform farmers from Anna donors to energy donors and provide more energy to rural areas with more than 30,000 direct And indirect jobs will be created. The company is ready to invest up to Rs 75,000 crore in the new energy business.
