To make sabudana vada, you can follow a simple recipe. Everyone loves the taste of this dish. Let's know how to make a soap nut head.

Ingredients for making soapberry head

  • Soap seeds – 1 cup
  • Boiled potatoes – 4-5
  • Roasted and crushed peanuts – 1/2 cup
  • Chopped green chillies – 3-4
  • Chopped green coriander – 3-4 tbsp
  • Ginger paste – 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Oil – for frying
  • Salt – as per taste

How to make soapberry head

Making delicious sabudana vada is very easy and this recipe can be made in minutes. To prepare the soapy water head, first clean and wash the soapy water. After this soak it for 2 hours. Soap will swell after being wet. After this, if there is excess water in the soap, remove it.

Add soapy water to potatoes and mix

Now boil the potatoes and then peel them and mash them in a big bowl. After the potatoes are mashed, add soapy water and mix. Prepare the mixture by adding roasted and crushed peanuts, finely chopped green chillies, green coriander, black pepper powder, ginger paste and salt to taste.

Heat oil in a pan

Now take some mixture in your hand and press it lightly to form a vada and place it on a plate. In the same way, using the whole mixture, make the sabuda head. Now heat oil in a pan. When the oil starts to boil, add the prepared sabudana head and cook it. During this time keep the gas flame on medium.

Serve with green chutney or curd

Add sabudana vada as per the capacity of the pan. Fry them until golden and crispy on both sides. After this take out the sabudana head in a plate. Fry all the sabudana heads in the same way. Delicious sabudana vada breakfast is ready. Serve it with green chutney or curd.
