Election festival, pride of the country
The Chief Election Commissioner said that the Election Commission has so far conducted 17 general elections and more than 400 assembly elections. The Election Commission has also conducted 16 presidential elections and 16 vice presidential elections. He said that he has been preparing for the elections for two years. The Chief Election Commissioner said that our team is fully prepared to conduct the elections. Giving a slogan regarding the Lok Sabha Election 2024, he said that the election festival is the pride of the country. He said that elections in India are a festival of democracy. This is the biggest election in the world. He said that the whole world is watching the Indian elections. We promise that we will conduct the Lok Sabha elections in such a way that the strength of India's democracy is visible on the world stage.
Four challenges will be given special attention
The Election Commission said that this will be the first time in this Lok Sabha election that we will send the form to voters above 85 years of age. If such elderly voters say they cannot reach the booth, our officials will go to their homes and take their votes. He said we will go from snow to forest and get every vote. He said that four types of challenges arise in every election – muscle power, money power, misinformation and corruption. A large number of security personnel will be deployed to control the muscle power. He said that every helicopter and chartered plane would be strictly monitored. Intensive checking will be done at every airport.
A clash between three political factions
This election can see a fierce competition mainly between three political groups. On the one hand, there is the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by the Bharatiya Janata Party, while on the other, there are parties involved in the INDIA alliance. Many opposition forces including Congress are involved in this alliance. The third group consists of parties that are not included in either of these coalitions.
