Former Pakistan wicketkeeper batsman Rashid Latif has claimed that Team India will come to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy. Latif has also told the reason behind it. Rashid Latif believes that he is 50 per cent sure that India will come to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy. Speaking on a YouTube channel, Latif said on Team India's tour of Pakistan, 'If Jai Shah is elected unopposed as the ICC president, it means the Pakistan Cricket Board has also backed him.'

Rashid Latif further said, 'I think it is unlikely that he will sign the declaration that India will not go to Pakistan. I think we have 50 percent confirmation that the Indian team is coming to Pakistan. Jay Shah's work so far has been beneficial for cricket, be it BCCI or ICC.

ICC event in Pakistan after years

The Indian team last toured Pakistan in 2008. Then the Indian cricket team went to play the Asia Cup organized in Pakistan. This was the first time that Pakistan had hosted a major ICC event, since co-hosting the 1996 Cricket World Cup. Pakistan also hosted the Asia Cup last year. But Team India did not tour Pakistan.
