Indian Railways will run 15 Holi special trains, know complete information including route and timing in one click

The festival of Holi is approaching and on this occasion people living in different cities of the country return to their homes. In such a situation, during Holi, the trains are very crowded and it becomes difficult to get tickets. Indian Railways operates special festival trains to keep in mind the crowding of trains during the festive season. Then more than 15 additional trains will be run through North Zone of Railways.

Indian Railways has announced the schedule, fares and routes of these Holi special trains. In which around 6 trains are scheduled to depart from Delhi, these trains will connect cities like Katra, Varanasi and Saharanpur with various destinations. Apart from this, Indian Railways said there will be many other trains from Saharsa to Ambala and cities like Patna and Gaya to Delhi's Anand Vihar. As per the schedule, some trains passing through Dhanbad in Jharkhand will stop at three stations in Bihar.

In addition, the Central Railway said it will run 112 Holi special train services in March 2024 to meet the rush of passengers during the festive season. The list of trains includes LTT Mumbai-Banaras Weekly Special (6 services), LTT Mumbai-Banaras. Includes Danapur Bi-weekly Superfast Special (6 services), LTT Mumbai-Samastipur Weekly Superfast Special (4 services), LTT Mumbai-Prayagraj Weekly Superfast AC Special (8 services), and LTT Mumbai-Thivim Weekly AC Special (6 services) happens

Holi Special Train Number, Route Complete List

  • Train number 04033 will run between New Delhi and Udhampur departing from New Delhi on March 22 and 29.
  • Train number 04034 will start from Udhampur for New Delhi on March 23 and 30 and stop at Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana Cantt, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt and Jammu Tawi.
  • Another special train to Vaishnodevi will run from New Delhi twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays between March 24 and 31. On the return journey, the train will run from March 25 to April 1 and will run twice a week on Thursdays and Mondays.
  • Holi special trains from Delhi to Varanasi will be run three days a week, especially on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, between March 21 and 30.
  • More trains from Varanasi to Delhi will run three days a week especially on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, between March 22 and 31.
  • Another Holi special train will run from Katra to Varanasi once a week and depart from Katra on Sunday and return from Varanasi on Tuesday.
  • Another special train from Howrah to Banaras will run on March 23 and stop at stations like Durgapur, Asansol, Bakhtiarpur, Patna, Arrah, Buxar, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction and Varanasi.
  • Indian Railways said that another Holi special train will depart from Delhi for Tundla, Panipat and Agra daily from March 21 to 24.
