Netizens are criticizing that this is just a publicity stunt in the backdrop of Lok Sabha elections.

In the caption of this photo, she wrote, 'Today I went to the fields of farmers to interact with them, whom I have been meeting regularly for the past ten years. They were very happy to meet me and even requested me to take a photo. That's why I took these photos.'

Hema Malini is getting trolled a lot because of these pictures. 'How appropriate is it to do a PR stunt in the month of April wearing a Kanjeevaram silk saree, with loose hair? You should fire your PR agency,' wrote one. So what a time pass. Have some shame', said another.
