Haldwani violence: FIR against 5000, 7 magistrates posted in 5 super zones; High alert from Uttarakhand to UP

A large number of police forces have been deployed in Haldwani following the violence. A magistrate has been deputed to maintain law and order in Banbhulpura. In Uttarakhand's Haldwani, miscreants created a ruckus on Thursday. Six people have died in the violence, while more than 300 people have been injured. Security has been beefed up in the city following the unrest. So far FIR has been registered against 5000 unidentified people including 19 named accused. A total of three FIRs have been registered in this matter. Police have detained more than 50 people, who are being questioned.

According to Haldwani SP City on Friday evening, 6 people died in the violence. Including father and son. A minor boy, who was 16, also died. He is shot in the head. The dead include Faim, Zahid, Mohammad. Consists of Anas, Shabad, Prakash and others. Action will be taken against the accused under Rasuka.

All districts of UP are on high alert after the violence in Haldwani. After the announcement of Maulana Tauqeer Raza's Jail Bharo movement in Bareilly, tension continued in the city even on Saturday. However, Maulana Tauqeer Raza, referring to the Haldwani violence, said that Bareilly would not be allowed to become a Haldwani. In view of all these situations, strict security arrangements have been made in all the districts of UP. Apart from this, instructions have also been given to check all vehicles coming from Uttarakhand to the state.
