Gujarat Chief Minister's Office Awarded ISO 9001:2015 Certification, Only CMO in Country

Gujarat Chief Minister's Office has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification. Certified certification as per international standards has been awarded to the Chief Minister's Office. This certification has been awarded for high quality, timely and people-oriented smooth functioning of the Chief Minister's office.

For the first time, the Chief Minister's Office of Gujarat received the certified certification as per international standards. After which the Chief Minister's office of Gujarat has been getting ISO certificate continuously since 2009 till now. This was started at the time of the then Chief Minister Narendra Modi. Which is maintained till date. Which is pride for Gujarat.

The only Chief Minister's office in the country

The then Chief Minister Narendra Modi, with the commitment to bring about a qualitative change in the administrative work culture of the state, put the office on the international benchmark i.e., ISO benchmark quality with the objective of quality and performance. This pride has been maintained till now by maintaining it continuously. The Chief Minister's Office was awarded this ISO 9001:2015 certification for outstanding and continuous improvement in the field of public services with time-bound work planning. It was first awarded in 2009.

Gujarat's administrative system has continuously maintained this landmark performance of good governance established by the then CM Narendra Modi since 2009. From 2009 to 2023, it has achieved the distinction of achieving five consecutive tri-annual ISO certifications. Chief Minister's Office of Gujarat is the only state in the country to have achieved such a special honor.

Awarded certification for the next three years

The manner in which the work of the Chief Minister's office is being done. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the tradition of welcome program and ISO audit is being carried forward. Following this success, the Chief Minister's Office has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification for the cycle for the period 2024 to 2026. This is the sixth consecutive time that the office has received this certification.

For the cycle of the year 2024 to 2026, the ISO certification was presented to the Chief Minister of the state, Bhupendra Patel, by Bhavin Vora, Director of Technocrat Consultants and officials of the certification agency-Bureau Veritas. Along with this, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said that his office will be continuously committed to achieve the fulfillment of people's expectations through efficiency, capacity and effectiveness and punctuality along with certain criteria. ISO 9001:2015 certification has been obtained as a result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's thinking and relentless efforts to realize the concept of excellent public service. The Chief Minister congratulated the team CMO for this.
