Great features and a mileage of 73 Km... the country's best selling motorcycle launched in a new avatar

The country's largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has launched a new avatar of its famous bike Hero Splendor XTEC in the domestic market. The company has named it Splendor+ XTEC 2.0. It has received some updates, which make it better than the previous model.

What is special about the new Splendor?

Talking about the look and design, the company has given the same classic design as before. In addition to the new LED headlights, it incorporates High Intensity Position Lamps (HIPL). A fully digital speedometer, longer seat, larger glove box and USB charging port make it even better.

Engine and Performance

As before, the company has given a single cylinder engine of 100cc capacity in the new Hero Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0. Which generates 7.9 BHP of power and 8.05 Nm of torque. It is equipped with Ideal Start/Stoke System (i3S). Which helps in increasing the mileage of the bike. The company claims that apart from the low running cost of this bike, its maintenance is also very easy. The company claims that this bike gives a mileage of up to 73 kmpl.

Features

The bike has a fully digital instrument cluster. In which you get features like economy indicator, service reminder, side stand indicator, Bluetooth connectivity. You can connect your smartphone to this bike, so you will get SMS, calls and battery alerts while riding.

For safety, this bike is equipped with hazard light winkers, side stand engine cut-off. The company says that its new headlight gives the user better visibility at night. The bike has been launched with dual tone paint. These include Matte Grey, Gloss Black and Gloss Red. The company is offering a warranty of 5 years or 70,000 kilometers on this bike. The new Splendor+ XTEC 2.0 is priced at Rs 82,911 ex-showroom.
