Who is eligible for the scheme?

In Uttar Pradesh, under Chief Minister Group Marriage Scheme, 51 thousand rupees are given for marriage only to the daughters of those families. whose parents hail from Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, the annual income of the eligible family should not exceed 2 lakh rupees to avail the benefit of this scheme.

If a person belongs to Scheduled Caste or OBC community they will also have to produce their caste certificate to avail the benefits of the scheme. Under the Chief Minister's Group Marriage Scheme in Uttar Pradesh, the minimum age of the bride must be 18 years and the minimum age of the groom must be 21 years.
