Government gives 10 lakh rupees after marriage

You will get benefit of this scheme only if you marry inter caste. 10 lakh rupees is given by Rajasthan government for inter-caste marriage. There is an incentive amount from the state government for the couple. The scheme was launched by the government to encourage inter-caste marriages, earlier it offered Rs 5 lakh. Which was later increased to 10 lakh rupees.

What are the conditions?

Under this scheme of the state government, the money is given in two parts, first Rs 5 lakh is deposited in the joint account of both. The remaining money is then kept in a fixed deposit for eight years. Either the boy or the girl should belong to a Dalit community and should be a native of Rajasthan. None of them should be above 35 years of age. Apart from this, the combined income of both should not exceed 2.5 lakh rupees. Caste certificate is also required to be submitted along with the application.

To apply for this scheme both husband and wife should have Aadhaar card and joint account, apart from this it is necessary to apply for the scheme within one month of marriage. You can also apply online by visiting Rajasthan Government website. Apart from Rajasthan, for inter-caste marriage in the country, Dr. Under the Savita Ben Ambedkar Intercaste Marriage Scheme you are given 2.5 lakh rupees.
