In a special interview with Tv9 before the last phase of Lok Sabha polls, Home Minister Amit Shah lashed out at the opposition. Amit Shah told how BJP has majority after 6 phase elections. He also discussed corruption and Muslim reservation. Amit Shah said that there is no provision of reservation on the basis of religion in the constitution, so only those Muslims who are backward will get reservation.

In this interview, Amit Shah openly answered every question, including PoK, Kashmir and Kejriwal, except corruption against a strong government. On the charge of changing the constitution by getting more than 400 seats, he said that the people of the country had given this power to Prime Minister Modi in 2014 itself. Those who are making these allegations are not even aware of the process of changing the constitution.

What did Amit Shah say in the interview?

Backward Muslims will continue to get reservation:

In an interview, Amit Shah said that people who are talking about changing the constitution. They are talking about reservation, when these people have been doing this themselves. He did the same in Bengal and Karnataka. Reservations were taken away from OBCs and given to Muslims. I am saying with this claim that as long as BJP has a single MP in the country. Until then the constitution will not change.

On Muslim reservation, Amit Shah said that we have only talked about ending Muslim reservation, there is no provision of reservation on the basis of religion in the constitution, those who are backward Muslims will continue to get reservation.

PoK is a part of India:

On PoK, Amit Shah said that PoK is a part of India, PoK should be the main agenda of every government of India. On the situation in Kashmir, Shah said that the voting percentage there shows that PM Modi's policy was successful there. Tourism is increasing there, industries are being set up.

We are not afraid of Rahul Gandhi's grandmother:

On the claim that Mayawati works for BJP, Amit Shah said that when there are elections in the country, such things are said, Mayawati's party and her ideology are far from matching with BJP. He was also raising slogans against her.

The opposition coalition is formed on the basis of self-interest:

Amit Shah said on Bharat Gathbandhan that this is an alliance formed on the basis of selfishness and not principle, I don't understand. Congress Left is facing each other in Kerala and together in Bengal. Kejriwal and Congress are facing each other in Punjab and side by side in Delhi. Amit Shah claimed that the BJP is winning all the seven seats in Delhi despite the two parties being together.

Corruption increased in Punjab!

Amit Shah said that corruption has increased after the arrival of Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab. It has increased manifold. Whenever the Chief Minister of Delhi goes somewhere, he goes with the Chief Minister of Punjab. There is a perception among people of Punjab that Punjab CM Arvind Kejriwal considers him as his pilot and travel agent.

They shout at the EVM only when they lose:

Amit Shah said that when the opposition wins, they do not question EVMs. When elections were held recently, Congress formed the government in Himachal, won in Telangana, Mamata formed the government in Bengal. Then he said nothing, but when he felt that he was losing, he began to shout in advance.

The Congress claims were barred:

Amit Shah said that all hasty and urgent claims of Congress in Himachal and Telangana were put on hold. On Rahul Gandhi's advertisement on Agniveer, he said that his problem is that he cannot read more than half a page. The arrangement in Agniveer is that out of 100 soldiers, 25 will be made permanent, the rest will be given relaxation and other benefits in government, police forces etc.

Congress expelled Prajwal Revanna:

Regarding the Haasan case in Karnataka, Amit Shah said that he is accusing us, while the government in Karnataka belongs to him. He pursued Prajwal Revanna, who pressed the matter till the polls took place, because if the matter had been opened earlier, he would not have got the Vokkaliga votes.
