Earthquake Resistant Design: Atal Bridge uses isolation bearings, which act as shock absorbers. Due to this technology, if an earthquake occurs, the bridge will not break, but may shake slightly. According to the engineers who built the Atal Setu, the design of the bridge can withstand an earthquake of magnitude 6.5 on the Richter scale. (Photo Credit- Social Media)
Eco Friendly Light : Adequate lighting arrangements have been made at Atal Setu for high speed traffic at night. For this, eco-friendly lights i.e. low energy LED lights have been used on Atal Setu. The use of which does not harm the environment. (Photo Credit - Social Media)
Real Time Traffic Information Display: Real time traffic information displays have been installed at Atal Setu to inform drivers about traffic conditions and accidents in surrounding lanes. These displays are installed at a fixed distance, from which drivers will get immediate information about the entire bridge during their journey. (Photo Credit- Social Media)
Noise Reduction System: To reduce noise from traffic and vehicle horns on Atal Setu, noise reduction systems and silencers have been installed on the sides of the bridge. By this, the noise on the bridge will be reduced and concentration will be maintained while driving. (Photo Credit- Social Media)
