This means that in terms of average age, the Modi government can be seen repeating the previous record this time as well.

Anurag, Rupala and Rane out of the cabinet

Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nirmala Sitharaman and S Jaishankar, the four faces involved in CCS (Home, Defence, Finance and Foreign) in PM Modi's second term, have again got a chance in the cabinet. Piyush Goyal, Dharmendra Pradhan, Ashwini Vaishnav, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Bhupendra Yadav, Prahlad Joshi and Hardeep Puri are also part of the new government. However, stalwarts like Anurag Thakur, Parshottam Rupala, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Smriti Irani and Narayan Rane have not been inducted into the government this time. Anurag, Rupala and Rane also won the elections. Suresh Gopi, who won BJP for the first time in Kerala, has been included in the cabinet. Ravneet Singh Bittu, who lost the election from Ludhiana, has been given a place in the cabinet. Bittu left the Congress and joined the BJP before the elections.

6 former chief ministers were also made cabinet ministers

Six former chief ministers have also got a place in the cabinet. In which the names of Shivraj Singh Chauhan (Madhya Pradesh), Manohar Lal (Haryana), Sarbanand Sonowal (Assam), HD Kumaraswamy (Karnataka), Jitan Ram Manjhi (Bihar), Rajnath Singh (Uttar Pradesh) are included. Rajnath has become a cabinet minister for the third time in a row. Narendra Modi has also been the Chief Minister of Gujarat.
