Haryana Legislative Assembly has 90 seats. BJP has the support of 48 MLAs. Out of these, BJP has 41 MLAs, 6 Independents with BJP and 1 Haryana Lokhit Party (Gopal Kanda) MLA. The majority figure is 46 in the 90-member Haryana Legislative Assembly. The five JJP rebel MLAs may cross-vote in favor of the Haryana government or abstain during the voting.

These MLAs may also be absent from the assembly due to JJP's rally in Hisar. JJP is going to announce its future strategy in this rally. At the same time, 30 MLAs from Independent-1 (Balraj Kundu), Indian National Lok Dal-1 (Abhay Chautala) and Congress are against the government.
