NEET UG 2024 controversy : 4 candidates from Patna have been arrested in NEET UG 2024 paper leak case. The Bihar Economic Offenses Unit, which is investigating the case, has summoned 9 candidates for questioning.
NEET UG 2024 : Economic Offenses Unit is investigating the NEET UG 2024 paper leak case. Four candidates from Patna have been arrested in this case. Nine candidates have been called for questioning on June 18 and 19. Including 7 girls. The NEET UG exam was conducted on 5th May. The result was declared on June 4. Since then there has been a furor over the NEET UG exam.
The candidates who have been arrested from Patna. Among them Anurag Yadav got 185 marks, Ayush Raj got 300 marks, Abhishek got 581 marks and Shivanandan Kumar got 483 marks in NEET UG exam.
9 candidates called for questioning
9 candidates have been called for questioning. All these candidates are from UP, Bihar and Maharashtra. Sunny, Nagwade, Priya, Alisha, Praveen, Amit Kumar have been summoned for questioning in the paper leak case.
A dozen ATM cards and passbooks were recovered from the house
The investigation also revealed that the candidates were stopped in room number 404 of the guest house on May 4. The unit has expressed apprehension that around 35 candidates received the paper before the examination. The talk of giving 30 lakh rupees each in exchange for the paper has also come up.
A dozen ATM cards and passbooks of various banks were also seized from a rented house in Patna during the investigation. More than 13 accused have been arrested from Bihar so far.
