Last date for submission of application for Head Coach of Team India has ended. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reportedly received over 3000 applications. Interestingly, former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir is said to be the frontrunner in the race, but the application has not come up in his name. But others with names like Narendra Modi, Sachin Tedunalkar and Amit Shah have also applied.

A fake form came for the coach of Team India

BCCI filled fake application forms for the head coach of Team India and submitted applications using fake names of famous celebrities and political leaders. According to an Indian Express report, the board has received several applications in the names of former cricketers including Tendulkar, Dhoni, Harbhajan Singh and Virender Sehwag. The names of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are also in this list.

An official of BCCI said that BCCI received such a fake application last year as well. The same has been seen this time too. Now the question is being raised, who will be the new coach of Team India?
