Amrotsav near Vadtal, 10,000 kg of mango food for the gods, see picture

Dr. Santavallabhadasji Swami, chief kothari of Vadtal temple, the organizer of Amrotsava, said that in the temple itself, the deities are offered seasonal fruits by the devotees.

It is important that during this summer season, the king of fruits mango, Ahmedabad SGVP Gurukul Parivar Swami Madhavapriyadasji and Purani Swami Balakrishnadasji had 10 tons of saffron mango granary.

From 8 am to 12 pm, more than 75 thousand devotees took advantage of the darshan.

Mango arches were erected by the temple priests. The mangoes were then held before the gods. Thousands of Haribhaktas were blessed to witness Amrotsava on Sunday.

After Annakoot, this mango prasad was distributed to old age homes, orphanages, women's homes and the disabled by the saints and volunteers of Vadtaldham.
