Airtel owner salary: According to Airtel's annual report, after nearly three years, company chairman Sunil Mittal's total salary has increased to approximately Rs 32.27 crore in FY 2024. The salary of Airtel boss in the financial year 2022-23 was approximately Rs 16.72 crore. Which was in line with earlier revised decision of HR and Nomination Committee. (Effective from 01 April, 2020).

However, following improvement in the company's business and strong and sustained growth, the HRC, considering the role and contribution of the Chairman, reconsidered its decision and recommended that the annual salary (with effect from April 1, 2023) be increased to Rs 30 crore. During the year Mittal and Vittal were paid Rs 47,250,000 and Rs 70,826,394 respectively as PLI for the last year 2022-23. Sunil Bharti Mittal received a salary of 2.20 million pounds from the company's overseas subsidiary Network i2i (UK) Ltd during the financial year 2023-24, the annual report said. For 2023-24, CEO Gopal Vittal's total salary was Rs 18.55 crore. This includes Rs 11.11 crore taken under 'Salaries and Allowances'.
