Ahmedabad: Burglary case solved in Naranpura area, 2 accused in police custody

The case of burglary that happened a few days ago in Ahmedabad's Naranpura area has been solved. The police have arrested the two accused who committed the theft and seized the valuables worth more than 15 lakhs. The police have arrested two regular accused while searching for one more absconding accused.

An incident of theft was reported in a house of Friends Colony next to DK Patel Hall in Naranpura area of ​​Ahmedabad city. The theft was done by breaking the wooden window and iron grill of the back room in the house number 14 of Friends Colony.

A total of Rs 25 lakh worth of valuables including gold jewellery, silverware, silver coins and cash were stolen from the safe and cupboards in the house. Based on the complaint of the victim, Zone One LCB and Naranpura Police have arrested the accused.

Who are these habitual thieves and how did they come in contact with each other?

Based on the complaint of theft, the police have arrested two habitual thieves. The police have arrested Vijay alias Sandeep Makwana and Chatursingh alias Sanjay. However, they have also searched for one more absconding accused in carrying out the theft.

Police questioning the two accused revealed that Vijay alias Sandeep was the main person who carried out the theft and the two accused had earlier come into contact while working in a company in Bhopal.

Accused Chatursinh was working as a security and asked Vijay to report any opportunity to steal. So on the basis of Chatursingh's tip, two other accused carried out the theft. The police have seized valuables worth Rs 16 lakh from both the accused.

Thefts have been committed all over the city

Further investigation by the police has revealed that the accused have previously carried out thefts at different places in Ahmedabad city. As many as 43 complaints have also been registered against him in Ahmedabad Crime Branch, Sarkhej, Kalupur, Alisbridge, Kagdapith, Satellite, Danilimda, Karanj, Navarangpura, Maninagar, Naranpura, etc.

He has also been sentenced to death twice. Currently, the police have arrested two habitual thieves and are searching for another accused. An investigation has been conducted as to whether it has been given.
