The first Hindu temple built in Abu Dhabi was consecrated on Wednesday. This temple in Abu Dhabi is very grand and huge. Sanat culture is seen here. Built by BAPS, this temple was inaugurated by PM Modi on February 14. Thus the first temple in the Muslim country UAE was also completed in Abu Dhabi. After Abu Dhabi, now a Hindu temple is going to be built in another Muslim country. For this, land has been taken from the King of this country. Work on this will start soon.

After the UAE, a Hindu temple will be built in this Muslim country

A temple is going to be built in Bahrain, the second Muslim country after the UAE. This temple will also be as big as the temple in Abu Dhabi. Importantly, it is also going to be constructed by Bochasan resident Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha i.e. BAPS. A BAPS delegation met the ruler of Bahrain regarding the construction of the temple. The land for the temple has been allotted by the Government of Bahrain and the formalities to start construction have now been completed.

The Crown Prince announced the allotment of land

On February 1, 2022, Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa of Bahrain announced the allotment of land to build the Swaminarayan Hindu Temple. After this, a delegation of Swami Aksharti Das, Dr. Prafulla Vaidya, Ramesh Patidar and Mahesh Devji met him regarding the construction of the temple. BAPS has stated that the purpose of the temple is to welcome people of all faiths by providing space for various cultural and spiritual activities.

PM Modi thanked the Crown Prince

Guru Mahant Swami Maharaj of BAPS has expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Modi of India and Crown Prince of Bahrain for the temple land in Bahrain. It also said that this reflects the eternal recognition of close ties and religious harmony between the two countries.

Swami Brahmaviharidas, who oversees the work of BAPS in West Asia, said, "I was a witness in 1997 when the late Amir Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa welcomed His Holiness Swami Maharaj at the Royal Palace in Bahrain. 20 years later, on 19 October 2017, Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa attended BAPS's Diwali celebrations and saw the portrait of His Holiness President Swami Maharaj and the late Emir Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
