Valsad : Atul village awarded 'Platinum Green Village Certificate', watch video

Valsad: Development reaches its peak when both system and people cooperate. Atul village of Valsad proves this point which has preserved the nature very well and also done many development works.

Atul Village has also been awarded the 'Platinum Green Village Certificate' from the Indian Green Building Council. It is important that green project has been done in Atul village and green award has been received. Atul village has been ranked first in Gujarat and sixth in India.

It is worth mentioning that under the green project in Atul village of Valsad, solar light from house to house, paved roads in the village, police station, anganwadi have been done. Not only this, proper arrangements have been made for door-to-door waste collection and waste disposal. Besides this, gas fireplaces are used instead of wood in the cremation ground so that pollution is reduced. Green projects like planting more trees, house-to-house gas connection, street light, solar project have been done.
