Toyota's first electric car is coming, the range will be more than 500 km, know what is Gujarat Connection

Toyota is gearing up to bring the first electric car to India. According to reports, this car will be based on the Urban SUV concept. Due to the Maruti-Toyota partnership, there will be many similarities between the Toyota electric car and the Maruti eVX.

Maruti EVX could be launched in India by March 2025 and Toyota's first electric car could be launched in India a few months after that.

Toyota's electric car will be similar in size to its concept model. It will have a length of 4300 mm, width of 1820 mm, height of 1620 mm and wheelbase of 2700 mm. The Martui eVX will also be of the same size. This car will be manufactured at Suzuki's Gujarat plant.

Toyota's electric SUV may feature C-shaped LED daytime running lights, simple style front bumper, flared wheel arches. The car will offer a luxury cabin, with advanced technology and safety features.

This electric car can come in two battery pack options. One of these will be a 60 kWh battery pack option that will give a range of up to 550 kilometers on a full charge. Another option will be 48 kWh, which will give a range of around 400 kilometers after a single charge.

Toyota has confirmed that this EV will come in both front wheel drive and all wheel drive options. After its launch in the Indian market, it will compete with Hyundai Creta EV, Maruti eVX and Tata Curve EV.
