Akshay Kumar is coming soon with 'Statue of Unity: A Symbol of Unity'. The documentary is directed by Anand L Rai. The film is based on the journey of turning an ambitious vision into reality. This 40-minute documentary unites the country with a sense of unity. It pays homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the creator of a united India, who led the unification of 562 fragmented princely states after independence.

The documentary also includes the contribution of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who conceived the project as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. This documentary shows every stage of the construction of the 'Statue of Unity' on screen. In 2013, on the occasion of Sardar Patel's birthday, then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the completion of his 182 meter tall statue.
