Share Market Updates 1 April: Today, April 1, the first day of the new financial year saw a strong start in the stock market. The BSE Sensex opened at 73968, up 317 points. NSE's 50-share index Nifty 50 also opened trading at 22455, up 128 points. Sensex has touched an all-time high today. Nifty is also at a record high.
