Pakistan said- India's illegal occupation of Jammu-Kashmir:

Said- Kashmiris are bravely facing their atrocities, we pay tribute to them

Pakistan's caretaker government Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani on Wednesday said that peace in South Asia will be achieved only when the Jammu and Kashmir issue is resolved as per the UNSC resolutions and the wishes of the Kashmiris. Kashmir Unity Day was celebrated at the Pakistani embassy in the Brazilian capital Brussels on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the plight of people persecuted by India in Jammu and Kashmir was shown in an exhibition. Foreign Minister said- India is trying to control Jammu and Kashmir by force. In such a situation, the sons and daughters of this place opposed it with full bravery.

Jilani said - India is failing to suppress the will of Kashmiris.
Jilani further said - India has illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Today we pay tribute to those martyrs who lost their lives in the face of Indian atrocities for the cause of Kashmir. India has failed to suppress the will of Kashmiris and their sacrifice will be remembered in history.

The External Affairs Minister appealed to the international community to come forward and protest the human rights violations being committed by India in Jammu and Kashmir. So that the Indian government's decision of 5 August 2019 can be withdrawn and Article 370 can be reimposed in Kashmir.

Caretaker PM said - Kashmir is in our veins
Earlier on December 14, Pakistan's caretaker PM Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar also said that the Indian Supreme Court's decision on Article 370 is politically motivated. We will continue to provide moral, political and diplomatic support to the people of Kashmir. India cannot be relieved of its duty by domestic laws and judicial decisions.

While addressing a special session of the Legislative Assembly in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), Kakar said – Kashmir is in the vein of Pakistan. The word Pakistan is incomplete without Kashmir. There is a special relationship between Pakistan and the people of Kashmir. Politics aside, the whole of Pakistan supports that Kashmiris have the right to make their own decisions.

In fact on December 11, the Supreme Court upheld the government's decision while hearing the issue of abrogation of Article 370 from Kashmir. SC said that Article 370 is temporary. Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India. The President has absolute decision-making power here. Along with this, an order has also been given to hold elections in the state by September 2024.

The central government removed Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir on 5 August 2019. Also, the state was divided into two union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. 23 petitions were filed against him in the Supreme Court. A bench of 5 judges heard all the petitions together.
