Market fun, Sensex crosses 76 thousand for the first time; Nifty also set a record

Bullish streak continues in the stock market. On Monday, the first day of the week, Sensex and Nifty once again set new records and hit all-time highs. Bank, IT and pharma sector stocks have seen more growth during this period.
Bullish streak continues in the stock market. Domestic stock markets once again opened at record highs on Monday on the first day of the business week and amid an election backdrop. After the market opened on a positive note, the Sensex crossed the 76 thousand mark for the first time at 12.48 pm, while the Nifty also crossed the 23,072 mark for the first time, a new record. At the time of writing, the Sensex is trading up 476 points at 75885.30 and the Nifty up 115 points at 23072.95 at 13:10 hrs.
 
During the bull market period, BSE's market capitalization is creating new records and has reached Rs 419.82 lakh crore. Thus BSE make up Rs. 420 lakh crore has almost touched the figure.

Here are the top losers and gainers

Around 1640 stocks advanced, 1726 stocks declined and 133 stocks were not affected during the bull market. Divis Labs, Adani Ports, HDFC Bank, IndusInd Bank and TCS are the top gainers in the Nifty. While ONGC, Wipro, Adani Enterprises, Grasim Industries and Eicher Motors are among the top losers. Banks, healthcare, IT sectors are the top gainers. Midcap index also remained at record highs and is at new highs today.

These shares of Sensex rose

Out of the 30 stocks in the BSE Sensex, 19 are gaining and 11 are declining. Sensex's top gainer HDFC Bank rose 1.16 percent. Kotak Bank is up 0.99 percent and IndusInd Bank is up 0.93 percent. Ultratech Cement gained 0.90 percent and Bharti Airtel gained 0.76 percent. Among the falling stocks, Wipro lost the most at 1.50 percent. Maruti was down 1.20 percent and shares of NTPC, M&M, PowerGrid and Reliance Industries were lower.

Out of 50 stocks in Nifty, 24 stocks are advancing and 24 stocks are declining. 2 shares are seen trading little changed. DV's Labs has the highest peak of 5.52 percent. Hindalco is trading at 1.45 percent, Adani Ports at 1.15 percent, IndusInd Bank at 1.06 percent and HDFC Bank at 0.99 percent. Declining stocks in Nifty include Adani Enterprises down 2.71 percent, Wipro down 1.65 percent, ONGC down 1.61 percent.
