Juniper Hotels IPO: Hotel company's IPO opening on February 21, know complete details including price band

Juniper Hotels IPO : Juniper Hotels Ltd on Thursday set a price band of ₹342-360 per share for its Rs 1800 crore initial public offering (IPO). Juniper Hotels Limited operates hotels under the 'Hyatt' brand. The public issue will open for subscription on February 21 and close on February 23, the company said in a statement.

The IPO is entirely a fresh issue of ₹1800 crore of equity shares with no scope for an offer for sale (OFS).

Where will the money be used?

Of the total proceeds, Rs 1,500 crore will be used to repay debt incurred by the company and its subsidiaries – Chartered Hotels Pvt Ltd and Chartered Hampi Hotels Pvt Ltd. Apart from this, a portion will be used for general corporate purposes. The hospitality firm has a portfolio of seven hotels and serviced apartments. Operates 1,836 rooms in luxury, upper upscale and upscale category hotels across India as of 30 September 2023.

Currently Saraf Hotels holds 44.68 percent stake in Juniper Hotels. Two Seas Holdings owns 50 percent and Juniper Investments owns 5.32 percent. The company's income from operations for FY23 doubled to ₹666.85 crore from ₹308.69 crore a year ago while net loss narrowed to ₹1.5 crore from ₹188.03 crore. JM Financial, CLSA India and ICICI Securities Ltd are the book-running lead managers of the issue.
