In a bilateral meeting with Putin, PM Modi said - war will not solve, dialogue is the only way

PM Modi Putin Bilateral Meeting: A bilateral meeting was held between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, the capital of Russia. In this meeting, PM Modi raised the issue of terrorism. Along with this, he mentioned the war in Ukraine and said that India is ready to provide all help to restore peace. On the other hand, Putin has said that PM Modi is trying to end the war in Ukraine.

PM said that terrorism is a threat to every country. With this, PM Modi mentioned the terrorist attack in Moscow and said, we understand that pain. India has been facing terrorism for 40 years.

PM Modi said that India has a decades-old relationship with Russia. India condemns all forms of terrorism. The past few years have been challenging for humanity. The relations between India and Russia will become stronger in the future. Oil prices have remained stable with the help of Russia. India is getting cheap oil with the help of Russia. India has raised the voice of the Global South. We have openly expressed our views on the Ukraine war.

What else did PM Modi say in the meeting?

PM Modi further said that the relations between India and Russia will become stronger in the coming time. Like a true friend you called me yesterday. Your cooperation regarding petrol and diesel is appreciated. The eyes of the whole world are on my journey. We both expressed our views on Ukraine. A solution is not possible on the battlefield. War is a great challenge for humanity. India is ready to provide all possible help to restore peace between the two countries. We will work together.

PM Modi in his meeting with Putin said that the world has faced many challenges in the last five years. Many challenges came up, first due to Covid-19 and then due to various conflicts. India is in favor of peace between Russia and Ukraine. The problem can be solved peacefully. India is on the side of peace. I have relations with Russia as well as with you for the last 2.5 decades. We have met 17 times in the last 10 years. About 22 bilateral meetings have been held in the last 25 years. This shows the strength of our relationship.
