24 carat gold price

According to information available on the website of IBJA i.e. Indian Bullion Jewelers Association, the closing price of 24 carat gold was Rs 6201 per gram. 22 carat cost Rs 6052, 20 carat cost Rs 5519, 18 carat cost Rs 5023 and 14 carat cost Rs 4000 per gram. Silver of 999 purity closed at Rs.69653 per kg.

In international markets, the price of gold on Comex fell by eight dollars to $2,019 per ounce. Silver also fell to $22.60 an ounce, before finally closing at $23 an ounce.
