ED could not answer this question, then the Supreme Court granted bail to Sanjay Singh, know AAP's claim

The Enforcement Directorate could not answer the question asked by the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court reprimanded the Enforcement Directorate saying, you will throw 10 statements in the garbage heap and arrest anyone on the basis of one statement.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on October 4 last in a money laundering case related to an alleged scam in Delhi's excise policy, has been granted bail by the Supreme Court after six months. The Aam Aadmi Party has called this decision of the Supreme Court a victory for truth. Delhi government minister and AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj said that today on April 2, the highest court of the country heard the bail of AAP MP Sanjay Singh. During the hearing, the court asked the ED several questions, which were not answered by its officials.

AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj said that Dinesh Arora's statement was taken 10 times while he was in jail in this case, but he did not name Sanjay Singh in even one statement. Not only that, after becoming a government witness, his statement was taken once more but this time also he gave a vague answer. He said that the Rajya Sabha MP is being picked up on the statement of one person, who is questioning the Modi government sitting at the centre.

ED could not respond to these queries

The AAP leader said, "The court asked whether any amount was recovered or the money was confiscated in this case? The Enforcement Directorate could not answer this." The Supreme Court reprimanded the ED and said, you throw 10 statements in the garbage heap and arrest anyone on the basis of a single statement. Saurabh Bharadwaj said that CM Arvind Kejriwal had also told the court that statements have been taken seven times from each person. When the Supreme Court questioned the ED about this, he did not have an answer. On that, the court said that the judgment we will write in this case will dismiss your entire case.

Today is a big day for democracy in the country – AAP

AAP leader said that AAP leaders have been arrested under Section 45 of PMLA. Under this one's bail can be extended only when the court is satisfied with the answers of the investigating agency. If the court is granting bail, it clearly means that the court feels that the accused is innocent. Sanjay Singh getting bail is proof of that. Today is a big day for the country's democracy.

Finally the truth prevailed – Atishi

Senior AAP leader Atishi said Sanjay Singh's bail today has proved that truth prevails. We have seen how AAP leaders are being implicated in false cases one after another for the last two years. Sanjay Singh's bail today shows that truth ultimately prevails. Two important things have come to light in this case. The court asked the ED where is the money trail? Spent 2 years in investigation but not a single penny was received from any AAP leader.
