The central government has announced to observe the black day of emergency, June 25, as Constitution Killing Day from now

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that Constitution Assassination Day will be celebrated on June 25 every year in the country. Emergency was imposed in the country on 25th June 1975. Ever since the Lok Sabha elections, the opposition has been attacking the Modi-led NDA government and the BJP over the constitution.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has made a big announcement. He said that Constitution Killing Day will be celebrated on June 25 every year in the country. Emergency was imposed in India on 25th June 1975 at midnight. The Central Government has also issued a notification regarding the observance of Constitution Killing Day on 25th June every year in the country. The Union Minister himself has posted the picture of the notification on social media.

Posting on social media, Home Minister Amit Shah said that on June 25, 1975, the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi adopted a dictatorial stance and strangled the soul of our democracy by imposing emergency on the country. Millions of people were jailed without any blame and the voice of the media was suppressed by imposing censorship.

He further said that the Government of India has decided to celebrate 25th June every year as 'Constitution Killing Day'. This day will commemorate the contribution of all those who endured the inhuman suffering of the 1975 Emergency.
