Because Gujarat High Court has stayed Aamir Khan's son's film Maharaja. The film was slated to release on June 14 on Netflix and Junaid was also slated to make his debut with the film.

Discussions have been going on for a long time about the film of the same name based on the book 'Maharaj' written by Saurabh Shah. The petition aims to protect the integrity of Sanatan Dharma by opposing the release of the film 'Maharaj'. Accepting the ongoing controversy regarding the film, the High Court has announced a stay on the release of 'Maharaj'.

The film should be banned

Justice Sangeeta while passing judgment said that this film should be banned. Some applicants have objected to this. The court has issued a notice. It is being said that the hearing will be held on June 18. Devotees of Lord Krishna and Vallabhacharya have filed a petition in this regard. The petition states that the film is based on the Libel Maharaj case of 1862 which has an adverse impact on public order. He also says that the film also hurts Hinduism.
