PV Sindhu and Sharat Kamal have been made flag bearers for the opening ceremony. So Gagan Narang, who won the bronze medal in the 10m Air Rifle event in the 2012 Olympic Games, has been entrusted with the Chef-D mission this time.

Considering this responsibility, this is a big position. In which one has to be in constant contact with the organizing committee which takes care of the facilities and needs of the participating athletes. On March 21, the official force for the upcoming Olympic games from India was announced.

India ready to give best results

PT Usha, president of the Indian Olympic Association, said in a statement that it was looking for an Olympic medalist to lead the team. Two-time Olympian PV Sindhu, India's only female athlete, will be the female flag bearer at the inauguration ceremony along with table tennis player Sharat Kamal. I am confident that our players are well prepared to give the best results for India in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Congratulations to the players

The IOC changed the protocol in 2020 to allow one female and one male athlete from each country to be joint flag bearers. Mary Kom and Indian hockey captain Manpreet Singh were the flag bearers at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. The Paris Olympics will be held from July 26 to August 11 and India will send a contingent of over 100 players for this.
